TITLE: ACTION PLAN ON ASAI PROPOSED SUB – HEALTH CENTER

INTRODUCTION

Further to the caption this is an action plan for proposed Asai 

Sub-Health Centre after battling through certain health issues.

Asia is located in the Simbai LLG in the Middle Ramu District of Madang Province area

 Of Madang Province. The LLG is made up of 30 000 to 40 000

People and of that Asai valley has 4 000 plus people. The geographical features of Asia are mountainous thick jungle. There is no excess of road network for vehicle to

Travel to Madang Town.

The only health centre is serving some number of people

nearby and only those who can excess, however, the bulk of population

 in every remote locations are really affected with health issues. Like the

proposed location is about 50km from the sub health centre and people PROPOSED LOCATION

 find it hard to travel. As a result of these health issues people suffer from malaria, TB and maternity rate is high as these are common disease and also other health problems. Some important program like immunization and awareness are hardly carrying out. All these health issues are contradicting to the National Health Plan 2011 – 2020in Key results areas. (1. Key Result Area 4: ImprovedChild Health 2. Key Result Area 5: Improved Maternal Health).Being the local people the demand for health services is really high.

With the consistency and pressure of these issues the community intended for this proposed project named as Asai Sub Health Centre without knowing where to get the money. While on that same token they formed an association called Asia Community Development Association Inc. This is to write proposal and seek financial assistance from Stake Holders, government organisation and concern people who may have the willing heart to assist.
